Egba National Usa/Canada Storms Dallas Labor Day Weekend

For Immediate Release:

The 5th Biennial Egba National USA/CANADA Convention storms Dallas, Texas Labor Day Weekend- Aug 29-31 2014.

It's definitely going to be night of pomp and pageantry. This year's convention includes lots of exciting events ie. Welcome Party, Family Picnic, Awards Ceremony, Youth Social and Gala Night.

Some of the guests for the upcoming ENA convention are:

 Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland. HRM Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo.CFR Okukenu IV

Governor of Ogun State-Senator Ibikunle Amosun,FCA, will receive “2014 Award of Excellence”

Captain Rashidi Raji (rtd)

Chief Lamidi-Pioneer Principal of Aiyetoro Comprehensive High School

The main objective of the Egba National USA/Canada  Organization is  to raise awareness on Egba-Yewa culture and provide socio-economic  develpment,educational and Health care services provided by the organization in Abeokuta and the entire Ogun state.
Formed in 1999 with 3 chapters in the United States and the convention launched 2006. It currently has 17 chapters in USA/Canada.

Chief Olutoyin Oladipo is currently the National Chairman who oversees the Egba National USA/Canada Organization. His vision is to enlighten the world on the progress ENA is making home and abroad.

ENA has grown into a mega phenomenon.  Over the years they have been very proactive in promoting Egba-Yewa  in the Diaspora. Their goal is to create a platform for members to unite every two years to bond and network.

Some of the projects the Egba National Convention supports are the following:
Borehole for clean water
Modern amenities at Sabo Health Center in Abeokuta.
Scholarships

As part of community inclusion,  ENA will participate in a community service project at a  homeless shelter in Dallas. This creates a bond between the Egba National and the hosting chapter.
