Titilayo Oyinbo and Abidemi Alaran to Host 2011 Yoruba Heritage Awards


















                                                               

                                        

The 2011 YOHA committee is proud to announce  that Cara Harshman aka " Titilayo Oyinbo" and Nigerian Movie Producer "Abidemi Alaran" will be hosting the 2011Yoruba Heritage Awards taking place in London, England on Friday October 14, 2011.





Titilayo Oyinbo is a 23 year old senior, journalism major with a certificate in African studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.






 As a lover of the Yoruba language, Titi has exemplified true leadership in being an advocate that has been able to educate and enlighten the world on the power of linguistics.

Having studied the Yoruba language for the past three years in school, she has always dreamed of working as a freelance journalist. By this, she started her blog “North of Lagos” and weekly video blogs discussing her experience while studying abroad at the University of Ibadan.

Abidemi Alaran, graduate of Film and TV production at the University of Ile-Ife in Nigeria.  He is the CEO of Matrix Entertainment, based in Ireland. 




As a lover of Nigerian entertainment, Bidemi currently produced  Nollywood blockbuster “ IMALA” which featured  top A-list   Yoruba actors/actresses.  



He is also a prolific Motivational Speaker and MC Compere.

    I hope to meet you and work with you some day, as i am presently collecting the pristine records of the ancient Yoruba that i believe will see the light of the day sometime in the future.They are good for the thespian adaptation as living legends, therefore,...They would be world-acclaimed, when released in the future, that's my belief....because there are secrets yet to be known, waiting to unfold.
